Hi there

If you are reading this then you must be wanting to surf the internet anonymously and I don't blame you!

Step 1.  First things first . . you will need to download and install Firefox if you haven't already done so.  Use this link.  (You might want to Book-Mark this page before you start)

Browse the web faster. Get Firefox with Google Toolbar - Right Here - It's FREE!

Come back here when you are done.

Step 2.
Find a proxy server IP address.  You can find some on my proxy page or here.  Please note that proxy servers have a habit of dissappearing from time to time.  If you can't browse the web with one proxy IP then try another.  A proxy IP address looks similar to this . . eg.

IP  165.228.128.11      PORT  80
IP  192.76.71.99          PORT  80
IP  219.141.223.198    PORT  8080
IP  200.174.85.193      PORT  3128

These are real proxy server addresses.  I use IP  165.228.128.11  PORT  80 in my demonstration and it really works!

A. Nothing.  It's Free!

Q. How come it's Free?
A. Google want you to use their in-built search bar.  (It's actually very usefull too.)

Q. How do I reset my Firefox setting?
A. Simple, go back to the 'Connection Settings' click on the radial button that says 'Auto-detect proxy settings for this network' and then click OK and restart Firefox.

Q. How do I know if my proxy server is working?
A. Click here to display your current IP address.  (A new window will open)  Check your IP address before and after you make your changes.

Step 3.  Below I have made an animated Gif image to simplify how to put your proxy's IP into Firefox.  I will continually loop.
The first image tells you to Click on 'Tools'
The second image tells you to click on 'Options'
The third image tells you to click on 'Settings'
The fourth image shows you where to put the proxy server's IP and Port numbers.  (Most Port numbers are 80)

Step 4.  After clicking OK to accept the settings you will need to close Firefox down and restart it to take effect.
IMPORTANT: After clicking OK to accept the settings you will need to close Firefox down and restart it to take effect.  I know I'm repeating myself but your proxy settings won't work untill you restart Firefox.

This animated gif will step you through how to set a proxy server using Firefox.

I hope this helps you.
